Review: Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

I managed to use up the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel faster than usual after years of using two different moisturizers for morning and evening. I wondered why it went by so fast, then realized I used it twice a day, haha! πŸ˜‚

The Hydro Boost Water Gel moisturizer works great for my oily, dehydrated skin. It has hyaluronic acid that provides hours of hydration and makes my skin supple. It absorbs quickly. I don’t have to wait before I can apply sunscreen and/or makeup. It feels cooling, too.

Since using it, the base makeup that usually gets patchy on me goes on better.

As an evening moisturizer, I prefer something thicker that doesn’t absorb quickly. I like the feeling of slathered skincare in my evening routine.

I can’t help but compare it with the Clinique Moisture Surge. My (yet minor) issue with the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel is it doesn’t feel hydrating the instant I put it on. When I use Moisture Surge, my skin feels refreshed and hydrated instantly. I hope that made sense. 😁🀞

I bought mine from S&R BGC, but it’s available in Watsons for Php898. πŸ™‚
