Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation swatch

I remember not being impressed with the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation. I only picked it up because it was on sale, and I was curious after seeing a beauty vlogger I used to follow use it in her routine. Eventually, I realized it’s quite similar to a tinted moisturizer. It is lightweight, so it is great for use in the very warm, hellish summer heat in the Philippines. As the foundation settles, it blends into the skin and offers a subtle evening of the complexion.

However, its oil control isn’t the best; depending on the finishing powder I pair it with, it often fails to keep my skin from getting shiny. On the plus side, it comes in a travel-friendly bottle with a pump, which I appreciate for convenience. That said, I did notice that over time, the formula tends to dry out slightly, which affects its consistency and makes the pump useless.

Perricone MD is available at Rustan’s.

As of my latest check on the official website, the Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation appears to have been replaced with the No Makeup Foundation Serum. The word “serum” in the name makes me want to try it because I’m a sucker , although I still have bottles and jars of foundation to go through. 🙈
