The Clé de Peau Beauté Translucent Loose Powder N is Clé de Peau Beauté’s latest iteration of its translucent loose powder. This 24-g loose powder is refillable and comes with a powder puff. The refill doesn’t come with one, though. The available shades are Light and Medium. It is also talc-free and has skincare benefits.

I used Clé de Peau Beauté’s Refined Pressed Powder before switching to this loose powder, which I thought was already good. But I am more impressed with the Translucent Loose Powder N, which had me wondering for a second what I was using before this because it made my base (or I should probably say “face”) look amazing. 😁
The translucent powder is lightweight, quickly blends into the skin, and is actually brightening.
My current bases are the Dior Forever Glow Star Filter and Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Corrector for Eyes. I find the loose powder to be the perfect match for the Forever Glow Star Filter. I use the loose powder for setting, particularly on the T-zone where I usually get oily, and under the eyes. The powder does not “mattify” the radiant finish of the highlighter. Instead, it smooths my skin with its blurring effect and evens out my skin tone. Then again, I only apply a minimal amount of the Forever Glow Star Filter on the T-zone. Additionally, it does not accentuate fine lines, especially under the eyes.
It is also amazing for my oily skin, as it prevents excess sebum, especially on my T-zone, keeping it oil-free for nearly eight hours.
My most favorite loose powder has been the Diorskin Forever & Ever Control Loose Powder, and I can’t recall anything else topping it so far, despite Dior’s other iterations of loose powders. Since that powder has been discontinued, I can say the Clé de Peau Beauté Translucent Loose Powder N has taken its place. 😊
The only cons I can say about it are that it’s inconvenient for travel since it’s large. All the shaking from transport or travel could also cause a lot of powder to come through the sifter. A spare puff is also necessary for wash days, but that’s not much of an issue. Anyway, since I liked the powder a lot, I bought the mini size, which is 8 grams. 😁
