The Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate is one of the brand’s bestselling skincare products that has been around for years. It is marketed as a serum that helps improve hydration, strengthen the skin barrier, and give the skin a healthier, more youthful-looking appearance. The serum comes in a dark gradient glass bottle with a silver/metallic collar and with a patented, pipette-style self-loading dropper.
It’s about time I post a review about this serum since I’ve used up a bottle and am about to open a new one. 😄

Review
As a long-time user of the Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Serum, I was slightly apprehensive about trying a new serum, especially when the Dior already works for me.
Lancôme is no stranger to me, as I was introduced to their Tonique Confort and Bi-Facil Double Action Eye Makeup Remover many years ago, both of which I used for a while. I am glad Lancôme has returned to the local market, so now I have access again to products I want to try, such as the Advanced Génifique Light Pearl Youth Activating Eye & Lash Concentrate, as well as products I’d like to re-incorporate into my skincare routine.
This Lancôme serum works well for me. It is hydrating and has helped keep my skin free of visible fine lines and other signs of aging. It was my serum of choice when I was pregnant, when people had noticed how blooming and “not pregnant” I looked, lol. I believe this serum also helped. Another thing I like is that it is lightweight and dries down fast, so I don’t have to wait before I can apply my face oil or moisturizer.
The serum’s dropper is convenient because it automatically loads the product as I open the bottle, but when I dispense it, getting only a minimal amount can be a hassle. The serum is a bit pricey, after all, and I don’t want to be “soaking” my face with it, lol. Anyway, that’s not much of a deal-breaker. In fact, the Lancôme Advanced Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate is my second-choice serum, next to the Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Serum. 🙂
