The Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes have been around for quite some time, but I rarely see them in stores. They either are sold out or just not every branch carries them. So when I finally spotted a pack at SM Makati, I immediately grabbed one.
The cleansing wipes uses uses micellar cleansing water and claims to remove tough makeup, unclog pores, uses micro vitamins to nourish skin, and leaves skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.
A pack contains 25 unscented sheets, and each one is larger than your regular wet tissue. I’m honestly glad these are unscented, because I’ve used heavily-scented wipes before that made me nauseous. That experience made me stop using makeup cleansing wipes for a while until now. 🤭
These wipes do not quickly remove makeup but gets the job done as expected. Even stubborn, long-wearing makeup comes off completely, just by gently massaging one sheet all over the face and eyes.
I normally reach for makeup wipes that remove everything quickly, especially on nights when I’m too tired to go through my full skincare routine before bed. However, I don’t mind spending a little extra time with these wipes because using them while lying in bed is oddly relaxing. 😁 Plus, despite my oily skin, I wake up the next morning without my face feeling greasy at all. That typically happens when I skip a full skincare routine the night before.
The Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes go for PhP299 per pack, which might sound pricey, but it has its perks. It is easy to use and travel-friendly, while being able to remove makeup.
