NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm Review

As soon as the Nars Liquid Blush became available on the official website, my friends and I checked out immediately. 😄

The NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm comes in a small glass bottle with a pump dispenser. Its cap features NARS’ signature rubberized coating, a detail that some longtime fans will recognize. While not all NARS products have this finish, those who have owned older NARS packaging have probably encountered the sticky texture that develops over time.

The liquid blush is fragrance-free, as far as I can tell, and has a thin, runny consistency. Unlike the powder version, which has a shimmery finish, the liquid blush contains no visible shimmer but leaves the skin with a beautiful radiance.

The NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm is highly pigmented and has great longevity, even on my oily skin. It easily lasts through my entire workday (8 to 10 hours), so I never had to touch up.

While pump dispensers are generally nice, they aren’t ideal for a liquid blush with such a thin consistency. The formula is quite runny, it’s difficult to dispense only a tiny amount, especially considering how pigmented it is. On the bright side, its lightweight texture and slow drying time make it incredibly easy to blend before it sets.

Availability

Nars is available in Rustan’s and Greenbelt 5. However, this original Liquid Blush has since been discontinued and replaced with two newer variants: the Afterglow Liquid Blush and Insatiable Liquid Blush. (I believe the Insatiable appears to be more similar to the OG liquid blush, except now it comes with a doe-foot applicator and no longer has the rubberized cap.)
